Hispanic Chamber Foundation
Our Mission
The mission of the Hispanic Chamber Foundation is to promote educational achievement, economic advancement and leadership development in the Hispanic community.
History
In 1991, the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Metro Denver felt the need to respond to the educational crisis our community was experiencing. The Hispanic Chamber developed a 501(c) 3 organization to address those needs and the Hispanic Chamber Foundation was born. Since then, the Hispanic Chamber Foundation has been a sister organization to the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Metro Denver.
2009 was a year of change for the Hispanic Chamber Foundation. Board members began to evaluate the mission and vision of the organization and a task force was created to further develop the Foundation. In May 2010, this task force presented a solution to the board of directors, which included the reorganization of the Hispanic Chamber Foundation. Changes included creating a board of directors separate from the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Metro Denver. This board was designed to dedicate its time and energy on the development of the Hispanic Chamber Foundation.
Today, the Hispanic Chamber Foundation has begun to fulfill its role as a community organization, while continuing to complement the mission and vision of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Metro Denver.
